Results of the VeRoLog Doctoral Dissertation Award 2013

The second VeRoLog Doctoral Dissertation Prize for outstanding contribution to the Vehicle Routing and Logistics Optimization field was decerned at VeRoLog 2013 in Southampton on July 8th, 2013.

Seventeen dissertations from twelve countries were submitted, and the jury, chaired by Angel Corberan and composed of Richard Eglese and Frédéric Semet, underlined the qualities of all the submissions.

Two winners were declared :

Be rewarded for the Best OR open-source implementation!

Win the ORBEL Wolsey Award 2014!

All too often, high-quality OR implementations (algorithms, heuristics, routines,...) are discarded as soon as their author leaves the academic world.

The ORBEL Wolsey Award has been created to support the student or PhD who wants to share its work with the community.
